old photos

I found a folder of old photos which I had up on a site once (the full site was gone but the photos remained). These are all pre-2004 so I'll do my best to remember when...

Tibetan Freedom Concert program and ticket stub

Oh my god I can almost remember taking these photos, my first ever "propped" photos trying to get a good view of the ticket and concert program art. I felt so goofy.

Tibetan Freedom 1998 was my first concert! My dad took me both days and I didn't get lost once!

1999 HFStival booklet & poster signed

Scans of the HFStival 1999 booklet (it was basically a zine) which contained a page for each artist playing in the festival. HFStival was an annual summer festival that ran from 1990 to 2006 after the radio station closed in 2005 (the festival was later revived for nostalgic money-making purposes). My high school best friend and I went for several years from 1999-2002. It was not difficult to meet bands and get a signature if you were patient enough to hang out by their bus for a long time!

The pages are for Powerman 5000 and 311. The poster, I have no idea who the signature is, but it might be Dexter Holland from The Offspring because I know I collected one of those at some point.

The HFStival was put on by 99.1 WHFS which aired in Baltimore/DC. It was THE station for rock music because it played across the spectrum, not just "hard rock" or "classic rock" or "today's rock" like the other stations did.

1999 HFStival booklet signed by silverchair

OH MY GOD I FORGOT I HAD THIS! Silverchair was my favorite band of all time for many years and I forgot that I met Daniel Johns and he signed my concert zine. I am currently dying inside probably the same as I did when this happened when I was 15.

A Perfect Circle ticket stub & tshirt

Looks like the ticket stub is from March 3, 2001, when I saw A Perfect Circle at Bender Arena which I do not remember at all, but I do remember religiously wearing this shirt.

2001 HFStival booklet signed by Stabbing Westward

This is a scan of the HFStival 2001 booklet page for Stabbing Westward, signed by the band.

The other one is the signed album cover and if you squint VERY HARD you can also see a photo of me as a teenager.

HFStival 2001 misc

I have no idea whose this signature is.

Ours the band

Signatures from seeing Ours at State Theater in 2011. I also made a custom glittery tshirt with their logo and had them sign that too.

Kill Hannah

I saw Kill Hannah with HIM in Norfolk, VA, I think in 2004. I didn't get any HIM stuff signed but did get a setlist and a bunch of Kill Hannah stuff.

The Living End

Tshirt and signed album cover from seeing The Living End probably also in 2004.
